IP configuration

The public block is normally what is used on our network. However, there are only 11 addresses available to clients. If the public block is full, the private block will be used.

There are static routes available between the public and private block without any translation.

DNS servers Public: 88.97.144.81 and 88.97.144.94
Private: 10.0.0.2 and 10.0.0.1
WINS server Public: 88.97.144.81
Private: 10.0.0.1
IP assignment Public: DHCP only apart from routers and servers.
Private: DHCP or static, apart from 10.0.0.1 and 10.0.0.2 (reserved).

Reserved IP addresses get blocked on our switches and routers if the MAC address doesn't match up, so don't try.

Wireless network

In case you need it, our access point address is 88.97.144.93 titled wireless. Do not connect to any other access point using this network name.

SSID reecehome (not broadcast)
Encryption WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK. Both TKIP and AES accepted, we recommend you use AES.
Channel Automatic (although normally 2 or 6).
Access control MAC addresses filtered.

You will need to ask Adam for the WiFi key and MAC registration. Your device will not be able to connect until it's registered. Finally, our wireless network does not broadcast it's existance. It may not show up on your network scanner tool (also known as viewing available networks).

Windows network

If your computer is running Windows you may wish to join the network to see shared stuff easilly.

Make sure that the Computer Browser service is enabled.
